Does anyone even listen to the Backstreet Boys anymore? I mean… Besides “Backstreet’s Back” and “I Want It That Way”. Actually, the Backstreet Boys are apparently still touring. I know this only because I follow the career of one of their dancers, Brooke Maroon, who also was the lead actress in this Thomas Rhett music video.
Anyway, I’m back to my old tricks. I figured I’d written enough walls of text on Facebook recently. (See: My recent rant about Country Radio) So, here I am. After spending half an hour messing around in the command terminal for the server this blog is hosted on, I suddenly remembered the password for this blog’s admin account, just as I was about to reset the password.
How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? I hope you ate plenty of turkey. Mine was spent surrounded by family and good food. I also got a chance to record my annual holiday message… Last year’s was about how stress is temporary, and hard work pays off. This year’s was a little… less motivational. Should I post it here? Y’all decide. The message is traditionally confined to Snapchat, where I can control how long it’s viewed for and who has access.
Hey, speaking of Turkey. I read an interesting article in last week’s edition of “The Economist” that detailed how relations between America and Turkey have continued to break down in the last decade. The Senate is currently debating rather or not to consider Senate Resolution 150. The bill would officially recognize the Armenian Genocide carried out by Turkey’s predecessor, the Ottoman Empire, starting in 1914. The bill would surely further strain relations between America and Turkey if passed by the Senate and signed by the President.
I’ve got a busy day ahead… Learning all about Docker. What’s your day look like?
